After arrival at Leh Airport at an altitude of 10,680ft, you would be transferred to your hotel. Check-in to the hotel. Today you will spend most of your time in your hotel and surroundings for better acclimatisation to adapt to the high altitude of Ladakh. As you are coming to high altitude dry area from lower region, your body needs to be acclimatised properly to avoid health issues. Overnight at hotel in Leh.

Enjoy the crux of the famed tourist spots of Leh in a day. After an early breakfast visit to the centuries old Leh palace. Next drive 40 km’s towards east of Leh town for Hemis Monastery, which is considered to be the richest monastery in entire Ladakh. On the journey back stop at Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Spend the evening at Shanti Stupa and enjoy the spectacular view of Leh town and Sunset in the Himalayas

Today after an early breakfast proceed to Nubra Valley. Enroute visit Khardung-la pass, the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380ft and Diskit monastery. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. On the way, visit beautiful Diskit monastery and 100-foot high Maitreya Buddha statue. After 7km, you will reach Hunder & check in at Hotel/Camps. Enjoy the Camel ride on sand dunes in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel/Camp.

After a lavish breakfast at Hotel, drive towards Turtuk Village.
The last border village on the India side of LAC, Turtuk was a part
of POK till 1970’s. The village is one of the most beautiful village in
entire Ladakh, also unique for its inhabitants of the Balti Ethnic
origin. Return back to Nubra, Hunder by evening. Overnight and
Dinner at Hotel/Camp in Hunder.

Located in the beautiful Nubra Valley, Sumoor is a peaceful

Sumoor Monastery:A quaint monastery reflecting the

Pulu River and Yarab Tso Lake:The Pulu River offers a scenic
backdrop for walks and picnics, while Yarab Tso Lake, a sacred
site, is ideal for relaxation and meditation amidst breathtaking
mountain views.
Deskit Monastery: Just a short drive from HUnder, the Deskit
Monastery is one of the oldest and largest monasteries in Nubra
Valley. Perched on a hilltop, it offers breathtaking views of the
surrounding landscape. The monastery is famous for its stunning
Buddha statue, which stands tall overlooking the valley, and
serves as a serene spot for reflection.

After an early breakfast leave for Nimoo to see the magnificent view of the Confluence of Indus and Zanskar river at Nimoo. The spot is also famously known as Sangam. Reach Lamayuru by afternoon. Visit to centuries old monastery in Lamayuru village, which is also know as Moonland because of its unique terrain. Overnight and Dinner at Hotel in Lamayuru.

After an early breakfast drive towards Padum through the recently opened Singe-la. Enroute you’ll pass through the villages of Wanla, Lingshed and Hanupata before crossing the Singe La. The Roads beyond Padum are patchy, so be prepared for a lot of off-roading. Reach Padum by evening. Overnight and dinner in Padum

Begin the day by visiting Karsha Monastery, one of the largest and most important monasteries in Zanskar. Explore the monastery complex, which includes various temples, stupas, and monk quarters. Take in the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys from the monastery’s vantage point.
After visiting Karsha Monastery, explore the nearby villages of Karsha and Pibiting, where you can interact with the friendly locals and learn about their way of life. Enjoy a traditional Ladakhi lunch at a local home or restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit Stongdey Monastery, another significant monastery in Zanskar known for its stunning location and architecture. Later return to Padum in the evening and relax after a day of exploration. Overnight stay in Padum.

Since the Day expedition to Phugtal will be covered in a day, so we have to leave early morning from Padum. Drive from Padum to Purne takes roughly around 02 hours. Next trek from Purne to Phugtal along the Zanskar river. The trekking from Purne to Phugtal takes around 02-03 hours. Post Lunch at Phugtal descend back to Purne and drive to Padum. Overnight and dinner in Padum.

Today after breakfast leave for Leh via Zangla and Nimmu. You will follow the Zanskar river for most of the day and then you will connect to Kargil-Leh highway at Nimmu near Sangam, the confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Leh.
